Hosting and server log files
This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in their Falkenstein data centre. When you visit, technically necessary data is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation). Log files are rotated daily and deleted after seven days; the IP addresses they contain are anonymised on rotation.
Contact form and email
If you write to me via the form or by email, I process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally company, message) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply.
Fonts and external services
All fonts are served from this server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or other external providers. This website sets no tracking cookies and embeds no analytics services.
Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Bavaria the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
